A record breaking year for TKA Sixth Form!

We were thrilled to celebrate the outstanding A Level results of our Year 13 cohort today.

This year’s cohort has achieved the strongest A Level results in the school’s history, with 40% of grades being awarded A* or A (30% nationally) and 70% being awarded B or above (56% nationally). We are immensely proud of all that our students have achieved.

Our University applicants have been delighted with their results. Outstanding grades have facilitated access to top universities and pathways.

Of the 105 students in the cohort, 20 were awarded three or more A Levels at an A* or A and fantastic outcomes have led to a record number being offered places at prestigious Russell Group Universities.

We are also so proud of Catriona who will be taking up her place to study Medicine at Birmingham University and Ella and Lyanne who are taking up offers to read French at Oxford and Chemical Engineering at Cambridge respectively.

This cohort has been a genuine pleasure to work with. Their hard work, commitment and ambition have been evident throughout their time at TKA, and we congratulate every student on their achievements.

We wish them every success and happiness as they embark on the next stage of their lives.
