Start of Term – September 2022

There will be a staggered start to the new term in September:

• September 5th – Term starts for Years 7 and Year 12. Arrival from 10.30 to 10.45am
• September 6th – All pupils in school to arrive by 8.30am. School gates open at 8.10am

Additional INSED Days 2022/23 – School Closed to Pupils 

Autumn Term: Thursday 1 September, Friday 2nd September, Friday 30th September 2022

Spring Term: Wednesday 1 February 2023

Summer Term: Tuesday 2 May 2023 (Bank Holiday Monday 1 May 2023)

School Hours / Timings of the School Day

The daily compulsory hours of the school day are from the official start at 8.30am until 3.00pm from Monday to Friday. TKA is open to all pupils for 32.5 hours per week. Many extra-curricular clubs and activities take place on site after 3.00pm.

Pupils are expected to be on site before 8.30am each day when morning registration takes place.
