iTKA Sports Interns’ News
Sports Intern Louis Oette, Year 9, has reviewed the trips best bits:
On the 9th May, the sports interns, along with Ms. Marshall and Ms. Williams, went to Twickenham Stadium. Firstly, our tour guide, Mark, took us to floor 6 where we took a look at the stadium. The view of the stadium was amazing, especially with it being empty. We then went to the RFU suite where we found out how much it would cost for a seat – a massive £5000 per year per person! We then went to the presidential suite where we there was a bar and 4 amazingly painted pictures. Afterwards, we sat in the seats of the royal family, with Josh sitting in the seat where the Queen would sit. The changing rooms had nice and comfortable red seats with 3 televisions, 2 ice baths, 2 luxurious victorian baths and showers. We then went to the pitch side where we learnt how the pitch was made. Finally, we went to the museum where we played loads of fun games and learnt about different players from The English Rugby team such as Jonny Wilkinson.
