Y12 Young Enterprise Kingston Showcase

The YE team had the opportunity to finally showcase our product that we have been planning and working on since September in the Young Enterprise Kingston Showcase at Southborough High School. We were excited to show the judges the hard work we have been putting in to create our Coconut Shell Scented Candles. 

This event was started by setting up our stall of our candles, then continued by an interview section where the judges were able to ask us questions from how we decided on the product itself to how our team was able to get where we are today.

It was a very fulfilling experience for all of us to be able to talk about how successful we had been in the past months. Through financial management to production of the candles, we were able to show them not only how passionate we were about our work but also the determination and integrity of getting there.

Following the interview, it was time for our anticipated presentation. In the presentation we were able to talk about our product to 6 other Kingston schools as well as the judges, showing them what we were hoping to achieve in this time period. 

Despite all the challenges along the way we were able to show great resilience in this journey. We couldn't be more happy and proud with how this has been such a rewarding experience for all of us. Not only being able to learn new things and how challenging the world of a business really is but also building on our communication, adaptability and creativity skills.
