It was fantastic to celebrate the hard work and successes of our wonderful Year 13 cohort who received a record number of offers from prestigious Russell Group Universities this year.
Our students sat nearly 300 A Level qualifications between them achieving the following grades:
24% A* - A
56% A* - B
80% A* - C
Of these, 10% achieved 3 or more A and A* grades.
Our University applicants have been delighted with their results. Outstanding grades have facilitated access to top universities (37% Russell Group) with particularly strong performances within our STEM cohort:
Themis (A*A*A*A*) Computing - Imperial College London
Clara (A*A*A*A) Physics with Astrophysics - King’s College London
Luke (A*A*A*A) Mathematics - Warwick
Ben (AAA) Computer Science - Newcastle
Abrielle (AAA) Anatomy - Glasgow
Josh (A*A*A) Marine Biology - Swansea
We were also delighted for Arya (A*AAA), our first student to secure a place studying Law at Queen’s College, Oxford University.
Eiliya’s exam success has also enabled him to take up his highly competitive place on Deloitte’s degree apprenticeship programme, something we are incredibly proud of.
This remarkable cohort faced significant disruption to their time in secondary school due to the pandemic. They have shown incredible grit and with the support of friends, family and staff, have shown they are capable of great things. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
