Stanley Picker Art Gallery Visit

Earlier this week, a group of budding Year 9 artists, who are hoping to study GCSE Art next year, visited the Stanley Picker Gallery in Kingston. Our thanks goes to Ms. Linch and Ms. Sattar for organising the day. Sophie Cochrane writes about her experiences of the day:

On Monday a number of Year 9 pupils went to have a look at the exhibition at the Stanley Picker Gallery, which is part of Kingston University. We studied Céline Condorelli’s work which inspired a free writing exercise and collage workshop. Some students who attend the Kingston School of Art took us on a tour of the facilities, which included; 3D, moving image, photography and the library. Overall, we all enjoyed looking around the university and learning more about our future options in the Art.
