We recognise that The Kingston Academy will attract pupils who are exceptionally gifted in a range of academic subjects and creative disciplines. As an inclusive school we are committed to ensuring we challenge each and every child and push them to achieve absolutely their full potential.

To this end, our most able pupils will be identified quickly and personalised support plans will be developed in partnership so that they are able to flourish. Opportunities to move at a pace suited to their needs, extended academic engagement, targeted enrichment experiences and early accreditations will be discussed in partnership with parents and each pupil’s Academic & Wellbeing Mentor.

In addition we will place each pupil in subject groups where they will be challenged and thrive according to their abilities.
