Our pupils are taught by exceptional, appropriately qualified teachers and are organised according to the needs of each individual pupil. We provide expert support for pupils with Special Educational Needs as well as for our pupils who are gifted and talented. Sixth Form

Our sixth form provision continues to provide a range of courses for all abilities and interests to ensure our pupils are equipped to compete and succeed in their chosen fields beyond school life. Our partnerships with Kingston College, Kingston University and local industry ensures this aspect provides unrivalled experiences, rigour and challenge.

Adopting a flexible approach to time tabling, we offer learning experiences that go well beyond traditional curriculum delivery, challenging our pupils’ capacity for collaboration, communication and creativity within a vibrant culture embracing arts, business and sport. At the heart of this approach from the outset, there is an enduring emphasis on developing excellence for all in both numeracy and literacy across the curriculum.

We believe an outstanding, inclusive and ethical education rightly focuses on academic excellence at the same time, championing additional experiences that nurture the whole child’s development in partnership with parents. Through our unprecedented partnership with Kingston University, Kingston College, Kingston Council and “Achieving for Children”, we are confident that The Kingston Academy curriculum experience is a unique and exceptional one. Through the exploration and enjoyment of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Communication, the Arts, Enterprise, Ethics, Globalism and much more, our pupils’ enjoy a traditional curriculum that promotes the academic, personal, social and physical development of all.
