Jenny Ashley is an education professional whose formal career culminated in ten years of Primary Headship in Surrey. She has had a lifelong interest in personalised learning and the psychology of early childhood development and has been a SEN co-ordinator for many years. She has qualifications in SEND and Safeguarding and continues to work with vulnerable families in the community.
Jenny brings the perspective of school leadership from the ‘coal-face’ and is passionate in her support for teachers and senior leaders working in the ever-changing and challenging educational landscape. As a member of the Pupil, Welfare and Community committee, she strives to promote the quality of pastoral care at TKA, ever aware of the ‘hidden curriculum’ and it’s effect on pupil’s self-esteem, confidence and future success.
Jenny’s three children were educated in Kingston and have moved on to successful lives in Germany, France and Brighton. Her husband, Martin, is a conservation architect and family holidays often feature visits to famous European landmarks (as well as restaurants!) Swimming and reading provide pleasure and leisure.
